He is a dynamic surgical oncologist who believes in giving quality care to cancer patients. He has trained at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital which is the top cancer center in India and among the best in the world. He is experienced in performing various surgeries including minimal access(laparoscopic and robotic) and complex open procedures. His areas of expertise are complex head and neck resections with reconstructions, breast-conserving surgery and oncoplastic, thoracic surgeries(VATS), gastrointestinal surgeries, HIPEC, and PIPAC. His mission is to give evidence-based care to his patients.
He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment and is a strong proponent of tumor board. He is a certified robotic surgeon. He has a special interest in teaching. He has several publications in his name. He has given numerous talks on cancer awareness and prevention. He has been a part of several camps in association with NGOs. His extraordinary clinical skills help in identifying his patient’s problems and treating them for faster recovery. He gets satisfaction by helping cancer patients through their journey so that it can be smooth and peaceful. He strives hard to not only increase the lifespan of his patients but also to improve the quality of life during treatment. He takes a special interest in cancer awareness and prevention. He also provides solace to terminally ill cancer patients and their families. He motivates his patients and family to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He is an aquarist by heart and loves traveling.
